Alan is a half Amsterdamese chap who has lived on the Wirral and in Liverpool for about twenty-five years.

He has always had an interest in electronic music and after accidentally stumbling upon Leftfield’s Leftism album, it was only a matter of time before he discovered Liverpool’s electronic music scene. His entry into this bubbling hot bed was progressive house, but that all changed one day when he heard one of his housemates playing Derrick Carter’s Cosmic Disco Mix CD.

After hearing, seeing and feeling what wizardry the likes of Dave Clarke, Derrick Carter and Jeff Mills were doing on turntables, Alan decided to get a pair of purple, YES, purple Numark belt drives and that’s when the bug hit!
